Send A Report To Facebook
On Mobile
1. Open Up Facebook App.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Tap the search bar on top of the display, enter the name of the person you wish to report, tap their name, and afterwards touch their profile picture.
3. Tap More. This choice is near the top of the customer's web page, simply below as well as to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It's in the pop-up food selection. Doing so brings up one more menu with reporting options.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Faucet among the adhering to options in the food selection:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you picked either the Pretending to Be Someone option or the I Wished to Help choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they making believe to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a reason (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you offer us some more details?" section.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue switch at the end of the display.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so verifies that your record was sent.
On Desktop computer
1. Open Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer's web internet browser. This will open your Information Feed if you're already logged right into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the screen, key in the name of the individual you wish to report, click their name, and afterwards click their profile image. Conversely, find and also click their name in your News Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's nestled in the bottom-right edge of the cover photo on top of their profile web page. Doing so triggers a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It's in the pop-up menu. This opens a home window with different reporting choices.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click among the complying with choices in the home window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you selected either the Claiming to Be Someone option or the I Wished to Help choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they acting to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a reason (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you offer us some more information?" area.
7. Click Send. This blue button is in the bottom-right edge of the window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This validates that your report has actually been sent.
