Facebook Report Someone
On Mobile
1. Open Up Facebook App.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Tap the search bar at the top of the display, type in the name of the person you intend to report, tap their name, and then tap their profile picture.
3. Tap More. This option is near the top of the customer's web page, just listed below and to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up menu. Doing so raises one more food selection with reporting options.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Faucet one of the complying with alternatives in the menu:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you picked either the Acting to Be A person choice or the I Intended to Assist choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they acting to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a reason (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you offer us some even more information?" section.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue button at the bottom of the display.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so validates that your record was sent out.
On Desktop computer
1. Open Facebook. Most likely to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer system's web browser. This will open your News Feed if you're currently logged into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar at the top of the display, type in the name of the person you wish to report, click their name, and afterwards click their account image. Additionally, find and click their name in your Information Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's nestled in the bottom-right corner of the cover photo on top of their account page. Doing so triggers a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It's in the pop-up food selection. This opens up a home window with different reporting alternatives.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click among the following choices in the window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you picked either the Pretending to Be A person option or the I Wished to Help choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they making believe to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a reason (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some even more details?" area.
7. Click Send. This blue button is in the bottom-right edge of the window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This confirms that your record has been sent out.
