How To Report A Facebook
On Mobile
1. Open Facebook App.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Tap the search bar on top of the screen, enter the name of the individual you wish to report, touch their name, and afterwards tap their account picture.
3. Tap More. This option is near the top of the customer's web page, just listed below and also to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It's in the pop-up food selection. Doing so brings up an additional menu with reporting alternatives.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Tap one of the adhering to choices in the menu:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you selected either the Pretending to Be Someone alternative or the I Intended to Aid choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they acting to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a reason (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you provide us some more information?" area.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue button at the end of the display.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so validates that your report was sent.
On Desktop
1. Open up Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer's web internet browser. This will open your Information Feed if you're currently logged right into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the screen, type in the name of the person you wish to report, click their name, and after that click their profile picture. Alternatively, find and click their name in your Information Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's nestled in the bottom-right edge of the cover photo at the top of their account web page. Doing so triggers a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up menu. This opens up a window with numerous reporting choices.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click one of the complying with choices in the window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you picked either the Claiming to Be Someone choice or the I Want to Aid option, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they claiming to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a reason (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you provide us some even more information?" section.
7. Click Send. This blue switch is in the bottom-right corner of the home window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This verifies that your record has actually been sent.
