Instagram Develop New Features, ' borrow ' From TikTok

One of Instagram's photo and video sharing platforms, reportedly working on new features for Stories.

However, Instagram is called developing a feature similar to what the app has now being popular among young people, Tik Tok.

In the Business Insider, this new feature is named  "Clips ". This feature was first discovered by Jane Manchung Wong who was a reverse engineer. He often finds new features that have not been released by social media.

The Clips feature allows users to post videos on Instagram Stories that have been pre-recorded. This feature also allows us to edit, give music, and adjust length and speed.

This feature is exactly the same as TikTok's. TikTok itself is a hugely popular platform, with over 1 billion downloads at the moment. TikTok users commonly use this feature to create content from comedy sketches to just a song.

Not The First Time

Instagram itself has a track record to emulate the features of other apps. One of the most obvious is the Instagram Story that was previously popular on Snapchat under the name Snapchat Story.

In addition, a series of features such as live video and new messaging features that make users can privately share messages that can be instantly lost, also similar to Snapchat's.
