Permanently Delete Facebook Messages
How To Permanently Delete Messages On Facebook
Step 1. Click the "Messages" icon on your Facebook homepage. The Messages icon is located in the leading left corner and also appears like two tiny overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the conversation having the message or messages you wish to delete. If it is not noted on the first Messages pop-up home window, click "See All" to check out all of your private messages. Click the conversation on that listing containing the message you intend to erase.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" switch and after that click "Delete Messages" on the Activities drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes located beside the messages you want to remove.
Click "Delete" and afterwards click "Delete Messages" to confirm that you wish to remove the chosen messages.
Tip
To remove an entire discussion instead of individual messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions food selection in the 3rd action.
Caution
Removing an exclusive message in your Messages inbox does not erase it from the inbox of your discussion companion.
